GreenDay Eco Fun Fair 2013

Everyone Welcome! The fun begins at 9:30am

This event was so successful last year that we had to make it a new tradition at Lincoln!

We invite the community, town and everyone who wants to have a fun morning, meet some amazing guests and help this little school with a BIG (green) heart raise money for 4 Outdoor learning areas that will help kids reconnect with nature. Donations are always welcome to this fundraising endeavour and we hope to see you this Saturday April 13th from 9:30-1pm.

We welcome and support these environmentally minded organizations at our event:

Carson Arthur Design - We are thrilled to welcome Carson, an international television celebrity with shows in 5 continents. He is the voice for environmentally conscious landscape design and will be speaking about design and sustainability in our community. 

Earth Rangers - At 11am sharp this amazing show will take place in our gymnasium. Come and see how you can do your part to preserve and protect our endangered wildlife in Canada.

Aspect Logistics and their Green Team - This local company has partnered with the school to help fund our North outdoor gathering are that will give our students a shady place to play and learn.

AFRICYCLE - Donate an old or unused bike and give a mode of transportation to a person in Africa.

PhoneApes - To support The Toronto Zoo, one of our students has been collecting cell phones to raise awareness for Gorilla conservation and protection, since 2009. 

RainBarrel.ca - Come to the event or go online to order a rain barrel for $50 (half of retail cost) and for every barrel sold $10 will go directly to the school.

CarbonNeutralShredding.com - This company uses recycled vegetable oil to run their paper shredding machines. Shred your documents to the event for a $5 - $10 donation per box (usually $25)

Thank you in advance to all of the companies that have donated prizes to our amazing SILENT AUCTION, the list will be posted at the school on Saturday; to all of the parents and community members who have baked delicious goodies for our TEA ROOM/ BAKE SALE, bought prizes for the KIDS RAFFLE organized CRAFTS and GAMES and dedicated their time to make this event happen. It is going to be a terrific day! Together we're better.
